The Spanish language versions of The Tingler (1959) listed here should be removed. As you wrote, they aren't PD:

Type of Work: Motion Picture
Registration Number / Date: RE0000329901 / 1987-02-25
Renewal registration for: LP0000014627 / 1959-10-01
Title: The Tingler. By Columbia Pictures Corporation.
Copyright Claimant: Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. (PWH)

Variant title: The Tingler.
Names: Columbia Pictures Corporation.
Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc.

The other copy listed is in the blip.tv section where copyrighted movies can be posted.

The discussion in this thread leaves the copyright status of Spider Baby (1968) in question, though I tend to believe Video-Cellar, who unlike me is rarely in error.

Why is blip.tv exempt from copyright restrictions?

I have no idea. Wonder about that, too.

A previous thread that sheds a little light (though not the full light of day) on bliptv's odd status.
